It is adjacent to the International Marketplace and walking distance to the Aquarium and the Honolulu Zoo. The hotel is located on the city bus lines that take you to Ala Moana Shopping Centre, Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, Hanauma Bay, around the island, and more.

You can dine at the on site restaurants that serves a wide variety of Chinese, Korean and local cuisine. Guests can also quench their thirst at the poolside bar.
General
The hotel also features a meeting and banquet room for seminars, conference and other social events, accommodating up to 250 people. When it is the time for leisure, guests can enjoy a swim in the onsite swimming pool, or indulge in a wide range of outdoor activities.

 This was the third time we have stayed at the Miramar as we like the location and the price. We have always found the staff helpful and pleasant. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean. The in room safe wasn't working when we arrived and it was promptly fixed.
However, it was very windy when we arrived and when we opened the balcony door to get a bit of fresh air the ceiling acoustic tiles were loose and blew out of alinement. My husband, constantly, had to stand on the bed and put them back in place. Also the railing rattled very loudly which we fixed by compacting some paper and inserting in the join.
We feel that the hotel needs a bit of attention and if we go to Honolulu again we would probably look at another hotel in the same area.
In saying all that, we did enjoy our stay. - 07-Apr-2008 The picture on this website doesn't really do the hotel justice. I think it's much nicer inside. It's also close to eveything, being almost across the road from the beach. It's right next door to the markets and everthing's a short walk away from it. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall it's a great hotel. Good value for money. I will be staying there again.- 20-Dec-2005 The hotel was very clean and in a great location to Waikiki beach. If you want to use public transport, there are buses that run frequently just outside the hotel. If you have a rental car, it will cost you to park at the hotel which was a surprise to us.
