nice place. friendly staff. good location, near the inner city but away from the noisy crowds- 23-May-2009 The staff was especially helpful and accomodating. Location was exactly what we were hoping for. The breakfast was really good. The only difficulty was that the room was located on the topmost floor, up a narrow winding stair. Yes, we'd recommend it to our friends in Canterbury.- 11-May-2008 My Canadian girlfriend and I stayed here for one night. I was born in Canterbury and went to college here so i knew the area and location well. I was very impressed with the hotel. Its really a pub with excellent guest facilities rather than a hotel, however this doesn't stop it from being a comfortable place to stay. The staff are very helpful and everyone we met couldn't do enough for us. The location, within the original city walls is excellent and close to eveything.- 25-Mar-2008 |
