Bedrooms are extremely warm, making sleeping difficult. Opening the window made little difference. However I couldn't fault the rest of the hotel facilities and staff are excellent.- 05-Jun-2008 The Hotel Meyrick in Galway is situated on Eyre Square in the middle of Galway City. Staff were excellent. Stayed on the 5th Floor and the rooms were fantastic, we couldn't believe we got it so cheap. There's a swimming pool and sauna, and those on the 5th floor can get their breakfast in the executive lounge on that floor. Excellent hotel, can't wait to go back and stay there again.- 24-Jan-2007 Location of the hotel is excellent and the room we stayed in was nice.
The health club was half decent although the Canadian hot tub was not working on the second day of our stay.
The service at breakfast was a shambles. The portions of the cooked breakfast were very small and the tea and toast arrived when we had nearly finished eating. The levels of english of a lot of the staff was apalling.
In summary, we will be looking to stay in the Radisson hotel the next time we visit Galway.- 11-Nov-2006 |
