Although only there for 2 nights B&B, the staff wery very helpful, the swimming pool good and the breakfasts great. It is centrally placed in Exeter and we found it very good indeed.

Nice pool and spa with quite long operating hours. Breakfast service very slow. Cooked breakfast is good, but the choice at the buffet not good enough for a hotel of the class the Southgate wants to be in.
