 Hotel is in a fantastic location on Chapel Street right in the centre but the hotel itself is the star. A fantastic old building with not a straight edge in sight (at the old front section of the hotel).
An important note though, it is the front section of the hotel that is very old, the newer rear section does not have the same charm. It is very expensive to stay here and my reason for justifying the cost was to stay in ye olde room.
We had an evening meal at the hotel resteraunt on Saturday night and the food and service were superb, as were the breakfasts- 17-Jun-2007 The breakfast was excellent, a wonderful choice and all delicious. It was a good central location and even though we had to pay for parking at the rear of the hotel it was very convenient and meant we could have a stress free weekend. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay.- 28-Oct-2006 Pleasant overnight stay with friendly staff. Extremely helpful and efficient in locating item left behind.
