Outrageous fees for Internet acces: $0.50 per minute. For a Mercure this is a relatively run-down place. Certainly inadequate for business travel. However, very friendly and helpful staff.

Overall position of hotel was good. Problem though with expensive on site parking. Prices for this should be displayed on website- not just "parking at cost". Other parking arrangements at reasonable price had been made at car park too far for walking with luggage.

The Mecure Welcome has a great location. The room had a fridge, microwave, electric jug and toaster. It was ideally set up for someone travelling. It is only minutes away from China Town and lots of restaurants. Shopping is near by.
