The outstanding thing about this hotel is the location right in the heart of old Narita township. Easy walking to quaint village style shops, British style Bar, and just around the corner from rail station for easy ride into Tokyo or to the airport. Not really an airport hotel but handy enough for one or two day stop-over. Village is a bonus and is probably why Airline Crew Members use this hotel.
We found the premises clean enough and serviceable with good air-conditioning. Rooms are of an okay size. The Hotel Restaurant does a nice cheap breakfast.- 13-Jul-2007 My friend and I were visiting Tokyo for 2 nights en route to Sydney. We decided to book this hotel as it was near the airport and thought this would be best.
Advantages: Shuttle bus from the airport direct to the hotel from stance 16 - runs every half an hour or so.
Nice town with a very old and interesting temple, some nice shops too. Only problem hardly anyone spoke English!
Disadvantages: It is located approx. 2 hours from Tokyo. We had booked a Panoramic Tokyo Tour for the Thursday (we arrived Wednesday morning) and had to get up at 6 a.m. to catch a train into Tokyo to make it in time for the tour. The tours will pick up at most of the main Tokyo Centre hotels. Would certainly do that next time.- 09-Sep-2006 |
