Just a heads-up—watch the noise from the planes if you're a light sleeper. Oh, and the nearby Whole Foods? Game-changer for snacks!

I was appalled by the lack of communication regarding air conditioning. It was excruciatingly hot in our first room, and finding out there was no air conditioning during our stay felt like cruel irony. After being moved to a "cooler" room, I had to keep the window open despite the chilly overnight temperatures in the low 40s, which was uncomfortable. Moreover, the bathroom issues were endless. the sink area was poorly designed with no separation, making it impossible for my husband to get ready without disturbing my sleep. Add to that the bathroom's disrepair, including a loose shower head and poor lighting, which made for a frustrating experience every day we stayed. Not to mention, I felt completely misled about the security deposit charges, with my arrival amount being vastly different than what was communicated.

Room was massive and comfy, loved the wall with George Washington's face! Staff were decent, but the air con was a right mess. Had to open a window, and that turned the room into a sauna. Still, proper tidy overall!

the melrose georgetown hotel was super convenient for gettin around, just a short walk to the foggy bottom metro stop. staff were really friendly and helpful, especially lovin the morning coffee in the lobby. our room was clean, spacious, and the bed was so comfy, i could've slept all day! the downstairs lounge was a nice touch too, good vibes and tasty drinks. overall, it was a chill stay and i would deffs come back!

They had a pretty nice lobby atmosphere, and the staff, they were actually kind. Just imagine checking in after a long trip and getting a solid vibe from them, you know? Also, the water pressure situation in the bathroom, let’s just say we had to be strategic with our flushes! Ha!! !

A convenient cafe right next door offered delightful breakfast options and coffee. However, the room's door had a noticeable gap, resulting in disruptive noise from the corridor, which affected the stay. Additionally, a cash deposit was not permitted, which felt inconvenient, and the sound from adjacent rooms was surprisingly intrusive.

Super close to Georgetown and the Foggy Bottom metro stop, which was perfect for renting bikes. The staff was really engaging and made us feel at home during our visit. Housekeeping did a great job keeping things tidy.

The bathroom could use a bit of an update, and sometimes we needed a little more info from the front desk.

Just a reliable pick for a weekend getaway in Washington with good value. The door opening system by the app was super convenient. Be mindful that breakfast isn't included, and the bar closes early.
