The rooms are basic but clean, there is a daily maid service and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The entertainment staff were excellent and the nightly entertainment kept most people at the hotel so that says a lot. The food was fine but the kids did get bored eating in the same place, but there are plenty of cheap and cheerful restaurants around. The shuttle for Port Aventura stops outside the hotel which is very convenient it costs 3 euro per adult and 1.50 eur per child single, it stops at midnight which is early if you want to catch the closing show at Port Aventura but taxis and public transport are available too. The shuttle from the airport cost 6 Euro single per person, or nine euro return they drop you to your hotel and pick you up the day of departure. The swimming pools were a big hit with the kids and lots of sunbeds to keep the adults happy. All in all we had a great stay at the hotel and would consider going again.- 12-Aug-2008 Restaurant far too small for peak times - chaos! Hotel room was a bit tired looking and dodgy locks on patio door - but English TV channels were a plus. Big Big screen in one bar for the football quickly followed by club music, while hundreds of old timers waltzed away in the main bar. I went at the end of easter and the place was busy with spanish school trips, a bit noisy but nothing too bad. Good value overall. - 18-Apr-2007 The entertainment by the hotel was excellent. It was brilliant for kids and for adults and would definately return for another holiday soon.- 11-Oct-2005 |
