 Our room was a 1-bedroom suite with a nice balcony. We like the natural air, but had to suffer from the main air-conditioner unit (shared by other people running their A/) -- it was so loud we couldn't even talk to each other on the balcony.
And unfortunately, our room had a rotten odor of sour beer, apparently in the carpet. So, closing the glass door made it reek in there. We did check-in on January 1st, so we could give them benefit of a doubt. Staff was mostly helpful and friendly, except that they kicked us out at 11am sharp, even after they accepted our request for late checkout of 1130am earlier that morning. Very strange.
Also, the pool is great for lap swimming, but it is indoors and not for general hanging out. With that said, the hotel is only 2 blocks from the beach.
So, a mixed review. I am, however, optimistic about the property in general, and would certainly consider staying there again.- 16-Jan-2008 The hotel itself was lovely the staff were not very courteous- 15-Jan-2004 |
