 The hotel itself was beautiful and the location is about as good as you could hope for. The staff were very helpful and friendly and would speak to you in both English and Italian. Breakfast was good, up to usual Italian standards. The problem was our room was a bit disappointing. It had a tiny bathroom with rusty plugs, no water glasses and some mould on the walls. The biggest issue was the fact that the wall between the room and the corridor was so thin that we were disturbed every morning by fellow guests and the housekeeping staff.- 10-Apr-2008 The hotel rooms were not particularily clean with what looked like blood smears on the duvet and walls of the kids bedroom. Reception was not very helpful and although car parking is mentioned on the website they dont mention it is 26 euro's per night which was a bit of a surprise.
The breakfast was of a poor quality the only good thing going for this hotel was that the location is excellent- 15-Jul-2007 All the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. Our party used three rooms but our bathroom was the tiniest. A very small shower cubicle so avoid room 35. The cold breakfast (continental) was plentiful.
The hotel was close to Il Duomo and within 20 minutes walk to most attractions. Plenty of nearby restaurants. We would certainly stay there again.- 29-Mar-2007 |
