 At our request we were given a room in the old Wardman tower (very nice). When coming from the Metro, go straight into the entrance opposite, do not go off around the corner as it is further to the main entrance, twice the distance! The hotel, though very large, did not actually feel that large when in it, so don't be put off by that either. At the price we paid through [your website] - excellent! If we go back to Washington, we would stay there again.- 14-Mar-2005 Nice hotel. Located across street from Omni Shoreham. Have stayed at both. Omni facilities are prettier but the package is better at the Marriott. For example, you have to pay for access to the Omni gym. The Marriott gym is free and twice as nice. Only negative, they charged for internet access - unusual in a business hotel. Good location amongst many restaurants, access to Metro, good parking and very nice neighborhood. 10 minutes by Metro or car to Washington Mall area. Nice park and running path closeby.
