 This was ourfirst visit to Munich, but we had no problem finding our way around. The locals were very helpful! Even though the hotel is away from the main centre, it is easy to access using the very efficient (and cheap) train system. One point definitely worth noting is that if you are in a group of 5. you can get a group ticket which covers travel to the airport or anywhere else in the Munich area for 18 euros. Munich zoo is also well worth a visit, even at this time of year. As for the hotel, it was everything you expect from a Marriott.
