No elevators and 6 flights of skinny stairways; no ice/beverage/snack machines in building; bare minimum in rooms; shady location on Broadway - 23-Mar-2008 The hotel is very dimly lit. Even in our room there was only one light that must have had only a 40 watt bulb. There was no reading lamp, only the dim overhead light. The hallways were also surprisingly dark.- 22-Feb-2008 The rooms and the bathrooms are very small. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. It is a very old hotel so they do not have elevators. The hotel is in a great location and right next to the subway. If you are there to enjoy the city and only need a room to sleep and shower, this hotel will be perfect for you. If you like a spacious room to spend a lot of time in, I wouldn't suggest this one. Overall it was a pleasant experience.- 18-Oct-2007 |
