Adjacent to the pool is our light excercise room, for those who want to continue fitness while away from home.  Very good location close to CBD. The hotel is rather tired, but OK for a short stay. Room was ordinary, decor and facilities dated. Definitely NOT four star as suggested- 13-Sep-2007 King Size bed was great as was the larger than usual spa bath. The bathroom was exceptionally small however and it was difficult to get IN the room without squeezing between the door and the sink. The door acftually banged against the toilet. Didn't avail of any meals there and the carpet could use an update as could the walls of the corridors to give the hotel a fresher look. Overall though good value for money- 15-Aug-2007 I stayed at the Marque then made another booking that I had to cancel suddenly. I asked that the booking be used as the basis foir another stay. The Hotel declined and billed me for the night I missed and now they will miss out on all my bookings from here on in. Bad call Marque! - 28-May-2007 |
