Location
Located at the south of Tenerife Island, next to the African Coasts, the Marco Antonio Palace Playa de las Americas is positioned around an impressive Roman pool and right on the white sandy beach of Playa del Camison.
Rooms
An oasis of relaxation, the resort has 116 spacious and well-decorated guest rooms that are comfortable and make you feel at home.
Restaurant
You can dine in one of the onsite restaurant that serves traditional food, while the other offers Mexican cuisine along with live Mariachi music.
General
With 28 meeting rooms, the resort is the largest and ultimate venue for a first class conference or incentive trip. Other facilities provided are swimming pools, Jacuzzi, tennis courts, squash courts, mini golf, gymnasium and sauna.
 The location of the whole Mare Nostrum Resort is quite convenient with easy access to the beach. But this is actually the main touristic centre, and it is extremely crowded. Also the beach near the hotel is not the best quality - every day we went to Playa del Duque (10EUR by taxi, not so far away), which is much better.
The good thing about the hotel is the parking inside the territory (if you rent a car). Also breakfast was quite good.
Actually the hotel is quite old and you can see that, but it is still keeping it up to 5-star status.- 16-May-2008 |
