the location of this hotel is excellent -- Old Town by walk, this is something to value in Warsaw (compare to Westin where everything is a taxi ride away). i would say that location is the best feature of this property.
the design is a positive side just as well, almost in league with the 'design hotels concept' -- small cozy lobby, lit-up elevators, plenty of space in the rooms (we were at floor 3).
the breakfast is limited in choice, nothing to remember. compared to Le Meridien, not good enough, overall on the level of Intercontinental.
the service is weird. i've rated "very bad" because for 1 night we were told they're overbooked (though we were booking through this site) and we were moved to their other property, Diana Residence. now, that's something to avoid ;), an unispiring sad-looking business hotel they run in Novy Swiat.
all in all, Regina's great for Warsaw if you're looking for a small, hassle-free environment with excellent location and good facilities.- 11-Dec-2007 |
