Double bed was more like a single bed - but there was an extra bed above. Breakfast was ok as well. Overall for the price we paid we were satisfied with our stay at the hotel and we would certainly stay there again.- 01-Jul-2007 We were extremely pleased with this hotel and have every intention of returning when we visit Stockholm again! The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean, comfortable and charming and in a great, central location. Delightful!- 07-Sep-2005 This hotel on a yacht wasn''t our first choice, but with nothing else available we decided to give it a go. Obviously, our expectations weren''t too high. I had read that the cabins were tiny, as indeed they were: A room the size of an average bathroom, bunk beds with little head room, hardly any storage space, a miniscule shower rather ingeniously combined with the toilet. The air conditioning didn''t function properly and the windows could not be opened. On the bright side, however, was the great location, right next to the old city centre, with views of City Hall and the lake. The breakfast buffet was also quite nice and the staff helpful. A computer in the lobby with free Internet access was a bonus, but the keyboard was very hard to use. Overall, I''d say the hotel was okay for one or two nights, but too cramped for a extended stay, and at $140 per night too expensive for what it offered. - 07-Sep-2005 |
