It would have been nice if the hotel had a pool or spa, the room we had was missing the bath robes - 18-Mar-2008 The hotel is nice and in a relatively quiet, good location. However, it is quite pricey for what you get. The rooms are very spacious, nicely designed (love the bathrooms), neat, and clean. The rooms themselves are decently priced, but everything else, from breakfast to Internet access, is ridiculously overpriced. I've stayed at hotels with much higher ratings in more "must see" destinations or big cities that had nearly identical prices for their services (and room rates were double or triple that of the Majestic). The rooftop garden is also something of a let-down due to a massive ventilation room that blocks about 1/3 of the area of the rooftop garden.- 01-Nov-2007 I thought the hotel was excellent, in all ways except the room views and the "garden". It was easy to get to, close to good eating and attractions. The room we stayed in look at a car park. The "garden" is a few pots on the roof, well laid out but small and not a roof top garden. The views from the "garden" were okay when looking east, but not to the west as 50% of the view is roof tops. The windows were well insulated, so there was no noise from outside.- 29-Jan-2007 |
