Well-priced, good-quality hotel beside Holyrood and the Parliament buildings.- 07-Feb-2009 Excellent hotel although it is about a 10 minute walk from the sites of the old town (except Holyrood Palace of course).
A few minor things;
The buffet breakfast is table waited for the hot food meaning that staff are busy taking orders and bringing out food. The quality of the food is great but this means tables are cleared very slowly as staff are doing other things and oftens means that you have to wait up to 15 minutes for a seat even though there are plenty of tables available, just not cleared.
The TV in the room is on the floor to one side of the bed so good luck watching it if two people are sharing a bed.
No free Wi-fi although you can go to the pub next door and use their free wi-fi.
But for £80 a night over Easter including breakfast I still think this hotel is a bargain and recommend it to those that dont mind a short walk.- 27-Mar-2008 A modern hotel offering all that you would expect from its 4* status.- 06-Mar-2008 |
