Gorgeous hotel ran very smoothly and efficiently.
Could do with a map of the hotels facilities (spa, restaurant, etc) in the room.- 13-Nov-2009 Superb hotel.- 01-Apr-2009 My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our 2nd wedding anniversary at the end of April 2008. The hotel was lovely - worth the 5 stars in my opinion! The location was great - only a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Bath. The room was clean, tidy & spacious.
The only small negatives were:
The staff on reception were not particularly polite and seemed to rush you through.
The room was quite warm, and we were not able to turn on the air conditioning....when checking-out I mentioned this to the man on reception who said that it wasn't broken, it was just that they don't turn on the air conditioning facility until later in the year! Our stay was at the end of April and it was a warm weekend!
Other than this, we had a great stay and I'd recommend it for a relaxing weekend.
If you decide not to use the hotel restaurant (which we decided not to after reading some negative reviews) then the Olive Tree in Bath is a good alternative.
