 I discovered that I had made a mistake with our booking date, booking the previous night to the night we had wanted to stay. On realising my mistake on the morning of the correct date, I rang the hotel and explained the situation. The lady on reception was so helpful and kind, and honoured our booking (for two rooms) for the next night without any fee. We were extremely grateful with this excellent service.- 07-Jul-2008 The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. - you can leave your car and walk easily into town. The dining room is lovely and breakfast excellent. However, the price of drinks in the bar is VERY high. Lots of the staff are not English and there was a bit of a communication problem sometimes.
With regard to the room, the only complaint we had was that the hot water is dangerously hot. You would need to be very careful if you were staying with young children. - 08-Apr-2008 RSC Theatre at Stratford is too early to eat dinner beforehand, and no food is available in the hotel afterwards.
