Our second time of staying at this hotel after completing the Inca trail. Really nice staff, nice atmosphere to the hotel, would stay here again.- 12-May-2009 I was disappointed with this hotel having had good expectations from the hotels' own website. The entrance is nice but the rooms did not live up to my expectations. I had better facilities in the del pardo hotel which was more or less the same price. I think to describe this hotel as a boutique hotel is stretching it. The staff were also off hand (with teh exeption of the cleaner and one if the waiters) which was a shame as this was to be a special weekend with a friend. Although it proudly says on the door 'under swiss management' you got the feeling that maybe the managers were actually in Switzerland as the staff in general didn't seem well managed. There was nothing terribly wrong but for the price you can find something nicer and with friendlier staff. There is so much choice in Cusco I wouldn't stay here again.- 12-Dec-2008 |
