 The hotel was further out from the centre than we had realised when booking, but once we figured out where the buses departed from it was not too bad. However, because of the heat it was quite a trek back to the hotel from the main sites. However, was a good hotel in other respects, although the first day when we returned for a siesta at 2.00pm (the temperature outside was 38 degrees) we discovered the room was only being cleaned at 2.00pm (we had been out since 9.30am), and all we wanted was a wash and a lie down and had to wait in the corridor until the room was services. Thankfully this never happened again and the room was always serviced by the time we returned. - 21-Jul-2007 we were delighted with the hotel and the warm reception we got from the very friendly staff. lovely hotel beautiful rooms very spacious just a minor thing there was no english progams on the tv the breakfast was adequate about a 15min walk into the centre. would stay there again. the taxi from santa maria station cost us 11euro in the evening and 9 euro in the day going home.- 13-Mar-2007 |
