 Had an excellent two days here. Some problems with check in and out but managed to get sorted. Very large and inpersonal but could not fault how well restaurants were ran with so many people.- 13-Mar-2008 Huge resort with about thousand rooms, but layout is very clever and outside areas are extensive, thus it never feels too crowded - at least in the shoulder season. There is massive spa with excellent facilities, very professional and pleasant treatments, granted, for some extra costs. Location is great, 1-2 mins walk to the beach with the spectacular sand dunes, however there are 5 swimmingpools on hand within the hotel area. This is definitely the more upmarket area of Gran Canaria, with mnny elegant shops and restaurants nearby. Two only downsides are: other guests occupying sunloungers with their towels already early in the morning hours, walls seem / "sound" to be paper thin, noise from neighbouring rooms come through too easily. All in all perfect for a high quality, short haul sun escape from Europe.- 27-Mar-2007 WiFi improved since last stay but could still be better in the rooms
Fitness center excellent but still annoying having to pay for every day - best if it would be free for guests - but otherwise maybe a weekly pass or similar
