 We found the hotel to be of good quality, friendly and well positioned on the beach. The staff were very friendly, rooms were cleaned everyday and toiletries replenished also. Overall very happy with the hotel and would recommend it. - 07-Sep-2005 The hotel is one of the smallest in Batu Ferringhi. The super deluxe rooms were large with great views although no remote for t.v. Great place for couples but would not recommend for family with young children as there are limited facilities available for children in comparison to surrounding hotels and the pool does not have a wading end for young children. The cost of the room was more expensive in relation to other hotels but the Lone Pine offers an atmosphere unlike large hotels. I recommended to the staff that the hotel provide guests with information on tours available in Penang, which is not currently available. Overall we had a lovely quiet stay at Lone Pine and would look at returning if we were not holidaying with our children. - 07-Sep-2005 The hotel is unique in its style and location. Due to the small number of rooms it is reasonably quiet, which suited us perfectly. The rooms are very tastefully furnished and were roomy and comfortable. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay. Unfortunately, we did not think the food lived up to the style of the hotel, but there are plenty of excellent restaurants and stalls nearby.- 07-Sep-2005 |
