Very nice hotell with excellent service. Good location, a five minutes walk from the Thames river path to Tower bridge and the Tower. Some noise from the trains at the nearby railway station. - 30-Sep-2009 This was a very pleasant hotel with a clean and modern design. The rooms are small but nice. The bed was very quite comfortable. We received excellent help from the concierge regarding getting around town and to the airport. We enjoyed the hot breakfast that was included, though the menu was the same every day. I reported a burnt out lightbulb and they had someone up in 5 minutes to replace it.
My only complaint is that we were on the first floor, and below our rooms was a bar/club that was cranking bass-heavy dance music until after midnight on Friday night. Our travel partners were on the third floor and did not hear it. You might want to ensure you are not on the first floor if you will be staying over the weekend.- 17-Sep-2009 From the moment we entered this lovely hotel with its warm, friendly atmosphere, the staff was most gracious. We were offered an upgrade on the room which was beautifully decorated with all mod cons. Despite the busy location of the hotel, the room was quiet. The hot buffet breakfast was excellent, as was the service. We dined one evening in the dining room and were pleased with the service and the food. The concierges were very helpful. There were two computers for public use, both well situated. The location was perfect for us, with superb transportation options and close access to many Thames attractions. We would return to this hotel in a heartbeat. - 07-Sep-2009 |
