 A beautiful hotel, in heart of city. Furnishings spectacular! Staff , overall, helpful except no one to meet and help with luggage at door. Hotel itself, while lovely, can be confusing to navigate. Several wings, several small casinos, easy to get lost! We also soon learnt that due to the huge number of outside guests, must book in advance to get table at any of the hotel restaurants. Corridor link to the newer Hotel Grand Lisboa very handy. Overall, great experience.- 20-Aug-2008 The hotel check in was very slow, all the time we were at the hotel, there were people waiting but we were given a free upgrade to a great room. The staff were very friendly. I regret that we were there for just one night, I would definitely stay there again and would
certainly reccomend it to anyone.- 07-Sep-2005 Garish and extravagant with a touch of seediness, the Hotel Lisboa is the epitome of the Macao experience. I would recommend the Lisboa for kitsch value alone. It came as a little surprise then that we found the hotel a very enjoyable place to stay in its own right. The rooms are clean, modern and well maintained, the room service was decent and the staff was helpful wherever we came across them. The pool and gym are great, but to get there you have to navigate the maze-like hotel mall. The only wrinkle in our stay was the special Lisboa wake-up call sound of loud lovemaking from the couple in the next room at 5:30 AM. For a short stay in Macao, the Hotel Lisboa is perfect.- 07-Sep-2005 |
