 Located in Downtown Shanghai, the Liang An Hotel represents good value for money. The staff were very polite and helpful and many had good English skills. The hotel is very close to Shanghai Central Railway station, as well as a good range of restaurants and convenience stores, as well as local hawkers offering interesting and cheap food. In terms of facilites the hotel has breakfast dining (not tried), mini bar fridge and free broadband internet which is terrific. Special thanks go to the staff member from IT that helped solved the problem of internet accessbeing cut-off (it required changing rooms)
Overall, an above average hotel in terms of value, staff professionalism and location.- 31-May-2006 I think the hotel was very good, as I get value for the money. Especially I have that good experience. I forgot my camera on the hotel lobby just before I left the hotel. When I remembered, I called the hotel reception. They told me the camera was on the way to the airport. Just before boarding, the camera was in the gate. Great service!
