Located in a very quiet and central position, the Les Chambres D'Or is placed only 200 metres from the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's Basilica and is approximately 100 metres from the subway. This property is also located just a 10-minute drive from the main railway station Termini and is 30 minutes from the Leonardo da Vinci Airport.

 Staff at the hotel is very helpful and friendly. They actually make it a point to remember which room you stay in. Bell boy also sees you all the way to your hotel room & brief you about the room facilities. Breakfast served is good. It is just a few mins walk away from the metro. However the streets to the hotel can get quite dim and quiet at night. Hotel is near to the Vatican cathedral. Only bad experience for us at this hotel is that when we first got to the room after check in, the room was not yet been done up as the housekeeping person has forgot to do so. However, overall the hotel is worth staying in for its friendly staff and services.- 29-Jul-2008 Hotel well located and although compact for 3 we were comfortable. A little more variety at breakfast would have been nice however there is a good lunch/dinner menu and it is well priced.
The staff from the hotel were amazing. Sam & his team very welcoming and treated us like old friends. Nothing too much trouble. Thank you.
Well located near Vatican and shopping areas.
Hope to be back there some day.
- 27-Jul-2008 We loved the people! The location was perfect. The breakfast was great especially the capuccino. The office being across the street from the hotel took a little getting used to. The detractions for me were a non-functioning elevator and a shoddy wall paper repair in our room. I would stay there again as I expect these things to soon be fixed.- 29-Nov-2007 |
