 The Hotel Leonardo was a lovely typical Italian hotel. It's just a bed and breakfast but who wants to eat in their hotel anyway? The hotel was very well located, close to the river and to the Leaning Tower, the room was clean and spacious, the staff were friendly and welcoming - they couldn't help us enough when we had a purse stolen (not in the hotel!) and helped us to contact the police and the insurance company - and it was very good value too. We loved it. - 08-Oct-2007 Overall the hotel was excellent. The breakfast provided a wide choice of items the airconditioning was relatively new. The only drawback was the incredibly rude and unfriendly receptionist, certainly put a dampener on the stay!- 15-Jul-2007 We arrived early and although we were able to book in and leave our cases we could not use the room for some 3 hours and even on our return the room was not ready. A reasonable city centre tourist hotel OK for 2/3 days stay but our 7 days was too long. The breakfast facilities were basic in the extreme and could certainly do with improving. Overall we felt the hotel looked tired and well used. It's main advantage is it's location in the heart of the city and close to all the major attractions, good local restaurants and transport facilities.- 21-Oct-2006 |
