 We booked this hotel via internet. We loved the position, 50 m from Moulin Rouge and short distance from Mont Matre. Be aware next to red light street but not a problem. Staff fantastic and helpful. Rooms very small, beds not brilliant but ok, bathroom tiny but we didn't need to spend time in room as so much was happening around us in short distance. Paris can be expensive so we accept that the price and standard is different than Australia. Accept this and you will be ok. Breakfast was adequate. Lots of restaurants in short distance. We really did enjoy our stay. All staff tried hard to make it enjoyable and we appreciated their assistance. If you intend to spend all day and night out looking and enjoying beautiful Paris and you want to be close to Mont Matre then we would recommend. Be aware that rooms aren't large and facilities small but that is not what we went to Paris for.- 25-Sep-2008 Very friendly receptionist. The rooms would be better if they had tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Baths are very small and the shower attachment was not fixed to the wall so impossible to take a shower. Breakfast was continental as expected but there was also cereals and yoghurt available. This is my second visit and I would stay there again. The Moulin Rouge is just up the road and the metro is very close and convenient. You do have to be aware that there is a red light district just around the corner but they do not seem to bother anyone.- 10-May-2007 |
