Wonderful location, but the carparking arrangement definately lets the hotel down. There are not enough carparks to accommodate all guests which means you have to park vehicles in and the hotel then keeps moving your vehicle to let other guests in and out. The carparking is not secure and some parks are open to the elements which can be a problem in the pouring rain!- 16-Apr-2006 The room was gorgeous. I was impressed. The bathroom was huge and the shower and spa bath were big and water pressure powerful. Very clean and elegant with vaulted ceilings.
Unfortunately things seemed to get worse as we went along. Room service took a long time, they didn't bring the dessert with my meal tray (promising to bring it up "in a minute"), then I had to call and ask for it as they forgot it.
I could hear every bit of traffic and foot-traffic outside the hotel (which, given it's very central location, was significant) and I was woken up the next morning very early by the people in the room next door. The sound proofing in the room was nil. I could hear everything the neighbours were saying and doing... Was glad to discover ear plugs were provided in the bedstands, but disappointed they were necessary.- 20-Dec-2005 |
