 A traditional city hotel centrally located near the railway station. Very obliging staff and a good breakfast. The modern tram stop outside the door is excellent for getting about. There is no need for a car. The drains smelt outside the hotel which was where there were 4 restaurants with pavement dining. This is a great shame as this was convenient for meals but too unpleasant to use. This was probably better out of season. The reception staff smoked on duty and that was unpleasant but there was no smoking in the breakfast room.- 20-Aug-2006 the fans are a bit dusty from years of condensation, but the price is reasonable, and the hotel is super close to the station which is great for ones who arrive early and leave late.
