Great Hotel would highly recommend it!- 20-Oct-2008 Great hotel in a good location. The bed was very comfortable. Parking is hard to find though. There is a car park a short walk form the hotel, but there is a fee to park there. The room was very comfortable.- 30-Sep-2008 Overall our stay at the Lato Hotel was good with the staff very helpful. The rooms are very small and our room faced the west, so it was very hot due to the summer sun. Our room was on the fourth floor near the kitchen with noise sometimes a problem in the late evening. While the Lato has a rooftop restaurant, this is not used for breakfast which is served on the ground floor with no view. However, the breakfast was more than adequate. The position of the hotel is very handy for the bus station and is close to the harbour. The harbour front of Heraklion is currently undergoing extensive improvement with small parks and eating areas. This is likely to take some time yet but work is progressing. - 15-Jul-2008 |
