I made a mistake with this booking as I thought we were going to the LKF Hotel! The Lan Kwai Fong Hotel is actually closer to SoHo than Lan Kwai Fong (about 10 mins walk away). Luckily turned out ok.
Small room, but very clean and new. Bed was rock hard for some reason.
Overall, absolutely fine, no problems at all.- 22-Mar-2007 Some internet problems - but they did make a serious attempt to fix it. The hotel has a bit of an edge and though the rooms are small it makes a good change from large chain hotels. - 13-Jan-2007 I would strongly reccomend this hotel if you are interested in shopping as there are two great shopping centers only minutes away. The IFC and the Landmark have all sorts of great brands and everything is so cheap! The SOHO district is also nearby which offers a fairly good choice of western food and some Chinese food.
As for the hotel, my girlfriend and I stayed in the Harbor View Suite and the view was really awesome. However, we extended our stay by one night and changed to a "standard" city view room and we found that the standard room was just as nice as the suite. I would advice people to book a standard room as the view is not worth the extra cash and the ceilings are actually higher in the standard rooms! The front desk people are a bit unorganized so the hotel loses the professional feel of a Hyatt but at the same time they are indeed friendly. Overall, the hotel's location is just too good to pass up so I highly reccomend the standard rooms in this hotel. - 27-Dec-2006 |
