 I had a hard time looking for a weighing scale when I needed to weigh my luggage just to make sure I don't go over the limit. They only understood me when I drew it on paper. Anyways, they don't have it in the hotel. I suggest that they provide one for their customer's convenience.
I was satisfied with the facilities because I wasn't expecting a wifi to be available, so I was happy I had the access. The hotel staff were also friendly and very accommodating. It is near the subtle (subway) and there are many taxis available near the area also. The taxi drivers just have to be instructed very well where the hotel is and a key to it is say Hotel La Perla near La Perla Restaurant at Once; Avenida Jujuy.- 01-Jun-2008 The hotel is not expensive, clean and the service is good. The location is not very good, but it is not expensive to go to the main turist attractions by taxi or with some of the tours offered by the hotel.- 21-Dec-2006 Booked into La Perla from my home in Sydney thinking that it was in close proximity to the city centre and the Florida Mall. It was not and was about a 45 min walk to these locations. This of course was my fault. The hotel room we had faced the road and was very noisy. Bed and bathroom clean and acceptable. Service ok and very little English spoken. Overall an acceptable hotel and reasonable value for money if you need to stay in this location. If not, then for the same amount you can get a 3 star room right in the heart of the action.
