The La Locanda Di Orsaria Hotel is located in a quiet area near the railway station, just 100 metres away from the waterbus stop. Well connected to the main tourist attractions, the hotel is within walking distance from the car terminal of Piazzale Roma.
Rooms
The hotel provides comfortable guestrooms that are spacious and bright, and furnished very carefully. In addition, the superior double rooms are furnished with 18th century Venetian style furniture and have sumptuous fabric in different colours on the walls.
Restaurant
The hotel has no restaurant, but a delicious Italian breakfast is offerd every morning for you to begin your day on a pleasant note.
General
This family-run hotel offers its guests not only the charm of old times but also every modern comforts in a very pleasant atmosphere. The staffs at the hotel are at your disposal to assist you in giving information about the concerts, museums, monuments and the most beautiful islands for you to visit.

 Arrived in Venice by train just before midnight & had been given very cleat instructions on locating the hotel which was very close to the station. There is still plenty of activity in Venice at that hour & the hotel staff were very welcoming with a complimentary bottle of water & help with getting my luggage up the stairs. Early breakfast was provided before my morning train departure.
The room was small but very comfortable & the hotel charming, & I regretted that I was only staying one night. The price was reasonable by Venice standards. I would highly recommend this hotel.- 27-Sep-2008 We stayed 2 nights at the hotel. The staff were polite and courteous.
We had a quadruple room and it was a fair size with 4 beds in. Breakfast was standard with the usual choice of juice, cereal, yoghurts, pastries and croissants.
The hotel is located very near the train station but don't let this put you off as we never heard any trains. The area is very nice and very convenient for catching the vaporetti which is just some 50 yards away. If you are driving to Venice, you can park in the Tronchetto and then catch the vaporetti to Ferrovia which is just a 10 minute water ride away instead of walking from the garage to the hotel which can be quite difficult if you have suitcases and children to look after too (and of course the heat which we're unused to:-).
Overall, it is a good hotel in a good location with some good restaurants around. Beware though that the fruit stalls by the vaporetti stations can be expensive. 3 bananas cost us almost £4.00!!!- 21-Aug-2008 The staff were terrifically helpful.
