 the Hotel is very easy to reach and is in a very nice area of Venice. small room but clean and nice decorated. it was a good choice. - 21-Apr-2008 When we checked in at night after a long train ride the person at the front desk was less than friendly and less than competent. Through out our stay we also had problems with our toilet continually breaking. Although they kept supposedly fixing it, it would break the next time it was flushed. No one at the hotel called the plumber despite our continuous inquiries - until the morning we checked out. Then we get a call from the front desk that a plumber was here - I asked if he could wait an hour to come up until we checked out but was told "that's impossible." So we were rushed our of our room, didn't get to finish getting ready, all so they could fix the toilet for the next guest even though it hadn't been fixed for us!! I definitely do NOT recommend staying in this hotel unless you like to be treated like this. - 26-Feb-2008 The hotel was good value for the location and the rooms were quite clean but the facilities were minimal. There is no bar and we had to take our own tea making equipment and staff virtually accused us of stealing their cups just because we took some into the room for a cup of tea!! Some of the staff were friendly but others were down right rude. We wouldn't stay there again - not really recommended but okay for a short, cheap stay!!- 04-Dec-2006 |
