 The Kyjev Hotel Bratislava was pretty good, given the price. The breakfasts were excellent, and it was only 5-10minutes walk to the old town. The carpet was quite grubby, but the bedsheets were clean, and the room was serviced each day. Biggest downside was that the lifts are amazingly slow. Incredibly slow. This could be a big problem in the morning if the hotel was busy........- 07-Sep-2009 The hotel is located right in the center of the city. And i mean that. But it is an old communist hotel, very good for it's age. The rooms are standard, but the furniture and the bath are really old. If it was ever renewed, it does not show that.
The reception desk had a computer problem and the man in charge was very impolite to say the least.
The breakfast was ok, with a lot of choices.
