 Good location close to the centre of the city, good room and basically good value for money. The main problem is if you are ariving by car. Parking is really a problem in the centre of Auckland and there are not too many places for parking in the hotel area itself.- 04-Mar-2008 We checked-in to Hotel late around 11:15 pm due to delay of our Flight from Sydney by 1 1/2 hours. I had sent a month earlier on our Late Arrival for 10 PM. We were therefore late by frther 1 1/2 hours and nobody was at Reception and we had to wait for 15 minutes!
We we were given Room on the 2nd floor and our 2 luggage bags were taken by ourselves since the hotel does not have Lift/elevatior!
Nobody from the Hotel came to our help! We are Senior Citizens with age of 66 & 60.
Over & above the above, we were told to vacate by 10 am inspite of our request to allow us to leave by 12 noon. Request was turned down, allowing time upto 11 am.
This Hotel is not worth even for USD 50/- per night; against your charges of USD 87/-
No doubt, the location of the Hotel is excellent, being on Queen Street; but, the Hotel facillities & services are totally missing!
I will never go for such hotels, even offered for free!- 10-Feb-2008 For the price, this is very good value. The hotel is an easy walk to the harbour, SkyCity, Art Gallery, etc. We were impressed with the service provided and would recommend the hotel as a good base for sighseeing in Auckland.- 20-Mar-2006 |
