 Generally disapointed.
The room was ok but TV, shower and hairdryer didn't work properly or at all. Woken throughout the night with lots of noise due to tour parties leaving at 2.00am, 4.00am and 6.00am. Also woken at 7.45 am due to a mistake by housekeeping. Don't accept a room near any stairs.
Breakfast was on the hotel as compensation for poor night - which was honourable.
Location is good & price was fine and the hotel staff were all polite & dealt with problems very well.- 18-Aug-2007 The hotel was fairly far from shopping and restaurants. Although there was a bus stop just outside the hotel where you could catch a bus to the city center. Or you could walk there in about 20 minutes. Our room was average. On the down side, our shower was difficult to adjust to the right temperature and then once we got it adjusted there was very little pressure. Also, you could easily hear people walking and talking in the hallways and next door. Finally, the toilet smelled (even though the maids came to clean everyday). - 07-Sep-2005 Found staff extremely helpful and obliging, they had good knowledge of transport options from the hotel and gave me some really useful information about the surrounding area as well.
I also liked the location with its proximity to Parnell and to the CBD especially with the bus stop right outside.
Our room was very clean and comfortable with a Queen size bed and single bed it was very spacious.- 29-Jun-2005 |
