 This is one of the four star hotels in the hotels guide that is 'really' a four star as you would expect it. The lobby and dining area are top notch, comfortable and modern. Rooms were modern and clean with AC and heating, bathroom comes with bathtub and shampoo/soap etc. The hotel is situated 2 mins walk from the museum quarter, a very centra location for visting the main sites in Vienna. - 27-Dec-2007 Hard to find any faults with this hotel. We stayed there twice during our recent trip to Austria. The hotel is hard to find but the location is terrific for the museum district and very handy to the shopping area of Mariahilfer. There are several restaurants nearby but the hotel bar area provide good snacks if you don't like venturing far.
Get yourself a Vienna Pass as the tram passes close by and the Metro is in easy walking distance. The hotel facilities are ok but we spent very little time in the hotel anyway. Breakfast was very good. The main restaurant was not open in the evening. The two rooms we stayed in were excellent and bathroom facilities very modern. Hotel staff were helpful and the bar staff - one particular guy - were outstanding.- 19-Dec-2005 |
