 This is a hotel with plenty of history and experience. The place looks imposing, the interiors are fine, my room was very good, and the staff were without exception friendly and efficient. The area I found fascinating -- fascinating Beijing hutongs, a street market, the beautiful Taoranting Park to the south, some good local restaurants. The hotel restaurant was beautiful too.- 02-Jun-2008 Fantastic hotel to stay in. It is clean and the staff are very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the facilities are good.The opera on the ground floor adds to the interest in staying in the hotel and I will definitely stay there again on a return visit.- 14-Dec-2007 |
