This was the most depressing hotel we stayed in throughout our trip and worse than the small basic hotels we stayed in, but the location was good and the rooms were clean.
The hotel layout was strange, more like a block of flats, with shops on different levels and outdoor corridors to get to your room. This showed up how rundown the place was out back. The baths were stained and bathroom windows had fixed glass slats (not all there) -not designed to shut, great for the mosquitos. Doors didn’t shut. My Mum's room smelled badly of damp and you could see the effected walls. Her first room had a leaking toilet. Ours had broken aircon. The staff didn’t knock and wait when coming to solve the problems.
The food was in the main hotel restaurant was poor, even breakfast was BAD, most meals were horribly over seasoned, too salty/spicy. A simple chicken burger was unrecognisable & served in a bun with gravy on it. The traditional indian restaurant next door was ok.
Can’t recommend it.
