 very cheap, very central, very noisy, very small. If you're on a budget give it a go but take ear plugs. If you have some cash, book a hotel.- 12-Mar-2008 Extremely well situated and a very good low budget place to stay.- 27-Feb-2008 Check-in at the other place is a pain despite the fact that it isn't far. We were given the room at the Sud Americana which we took because it was clean and tidy, but we didn't really know what the other room was like so didn't know if we got what we paid for.
It was noisy at night but that's the price you pay for staying centrally (right between Sol, Atoche station, Retiro park, the museums). Ran out of toilet paper and it took a day to get more (and that we took from the shared bathroom).
