Located on the banks of the river Daugava, looking across the river to the old town of Riga, the Islande Hotel is in the centre of Riga. The hotel is also close to the Vansu Bridge and Kipsala Exhibition Hall.

Reykjavik Restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, dinner where you have a great opportunity to enjoy delicious meals and wide range of drinks in a pleasant atmosphere which is enriched by sounds of piano at nights. Near the Restaurant there is a small banquet room where you can have undisturbed business lunch or dinner.

Islande Hotel offers 5 conferences and banquet rooms of various sizes provided with modern technical equipment, 3 of the rooms can be transformed with total capacity up to 300 persons.

 Because we stayed over the new year period, we had to eat out on new years eve as there was a private party going on. I had difficulty booking spa treatments or using spa facilities too.- 05-Jan-2008 Good hotel, and not so good spa. New!
- 01-Aug-2007 Too little cupboard space for clothing, insufficient no of clothes hangers, no safety box in the rooms and no "water stop" in the bathroom sink. Front desk personnel very friendly and helpful, but in strong need to improve their English. A more regular shuttle service to downtown would be much appreciated. This hotel is otherwise very elegant and has a lot of potential!
