 The location of the hotel is pretty good and is near to the Vatican. Easy to get to from Termini Station, just a few stops on the metro.
We stayed in Room 101 which is located on the first floor and is a very dark room and doesnt get much natural light. The air conditioning was broken which was ok as it wasnt very hot while we were there.
The sound proofing isnt great and you can hear lots of noise from the rooms above / next to. especially from the bathrooms. The rooms on the higher floors seem to be much newer so perhaps we just got a dud.- 15-Nov-2007 The Hotel room was very modern, spacious and clean we thoroughly appreciated its newness and it had a lovely big spa bath which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was delicious with alot of variety and fresh foods, and with a lovely view. Although some staff spoke little English, nevertheless, most were very helpful. Great location for walking to the vatican city, and easy walking distance to the open tour bus stop. Would highly recommend this hotel.- 05-Nov-2007 The Hotel Isa's rooms vary in design according to the floor you are on, but all floors now seem to have been modernised. Our room was on the 2nd floor and was excellent, very modern and trendy. There were no facilities (apart from the rooftop) in the hotel and the Reception always seemed to be too busy to discuss any places to visit etc. However, the roof top breakfast area, and sun terrace were excellent. There was plenty of seating to watch the sunset over St Peters and Vatican City. The breakfast was excellent, there was always a chef on hand to make special coffees and to squeeze fresh orange juice. The waiter was always around topping everything up and cleaning the tables. Both were very friendly and helpful and the choice for breakfast was great, cereals, meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, eggs, fresh croissants, cakes, tea & coffee etc. Also a great location, only 10 minutes walk to the Vatican and about 15 to Piazza Navone.- 11-Sep-2007 |
