 Perfect value for the price applied.- 27-Jun-2006 The room was nice in the sense that you get a kitchenette and living area separate from the bedroom, decor is basic, although comfortable. Note that no coffee or tea-making facilities are provided in the room, although you can use the stove to boil water if you bring your own tea or coffee.
Be careful of purchasing concert tickets at the hotel reception. I bought tickets for a Mozart concert and realised later that either the tickets or the brochure was outdated, because they stated different venues. It was rather frustrating because nobody really seemed sure where the exact location was, even after I determined that the concert was in one location & not the other!
TIP: Use the elevator along the beginning of Maria HilferStrasse (near the hotel) to get down to the underground/train station. It's faster and more comfortable than crossing the streets and dragging your luggage over tram lines. I didn't discover this until my last day!- 10-Apr-2006 I would stay here again.- 09-Sep-2005 |
