 Great location. Clean rooms with plenty of room for suitcases, etc. There was room furniture (a desk, a chair) that you could actually use if you wanted to and the beds were confortable. A nice deep bathtub. The staff was courteous and friendly. They put us in a room with one bed initially (we were two friends, travelling together) and switched us to a room with two beds without fuss. The Hotel is right off Place de la Republique so some rooms could be potentially noisy (traffic, street noise, etc.) but our room was up and in the back so that wasn't a problem. Breakfast was not included but could be had for 8 Euro--a little pricey, I thought, but that seems to be the going rate at 2 and 3 star hotels. The room price was very good for Paris though.- 05-Apr-2007 The hotel was in a good location and the rooms were quite a good size. There was a distinct smell of soap/cleaning products in the rooms though - but perhaps that's a good thing? Would recommend for a short stay in Paris!- 29-Nov-2006 All staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable.
